WHAT IS A CTE PATHWAY?
 
A CTE pathway is a sequence of two or more CTE courses within a student's are of interest. Pathways are designed to connect high school classes to college, industry certifications, and/or a career.  
 
Bassett High School offers 3 different pathways: Health Science Academy/ pathway, Business Management pathway and Pre-Engineering and Technology pathway. 
 
 
 
 
                                                          
 
HEALTH SCIENCE ACADEMY/PATHWAY
 
Health Science Pathways is designed to provide students interested in entering the health care field with various opportunities throughout the high school career. Students learn about he medical field through a variety of course.These courses not only provide students with valuable but also provide hands-on experience to maximize their understanding of the medical field and national Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) membership is another component of the program.

Business Management Pathways  consist of planning, leading, and controlling and organization or effort to accomplish a goal. In the Business Management pathway,students learn entrepreneurship and business fundamentals, goal-setting, resource allocation, organizational structure and management techniques, economics, financial data, risk management, information technology, and supply chain management.
