Principal's Message

Welcome to our school! My name is Elizabeth Maldonado, and I am the proud Principal of Bassett High School. I am happy to say that I am a Bassett Unified School District Unified alumnus. I am a product of Don Julian Elementary School, Torch Middle School, and Bassett High School. I am committed to working tirelessly to provide all our BUSD students with a quality education that will allow them to fulfill their potential.  It is a privilege and honor to be able to come home to our community and serve our students and families as your principal.

As an Olympian staff, we are committed to ensuring our students have the best academic and character-building opportunities as we prepare them for college and careers. We offer a wide variety of academic pathways and programs, including Visual and Performing Arts Offerings, AP classes, Career Technical Education programs, a rigorous A-G academic program, and an Early College Academy partnership with Mt. San Antonio College. We also offer many after-school clubs and organizations as well as a robust athletics program. As a school community, we are committed to the academic, socio-emotional, and character development of every single student.

We welcome families and community partners to collaborate with us as we prepare our students for college and careers. It is a privilege to serve our students, and I look forward to working with all of our educational partners! Our doors are always open, come and experience what Bassett High School has to offer! It is a great day to be an Olympian!
