Bassett USD campuses will remain physically closed for the remainder of the academic school year.

Student, staff and family safety is our number one priority. State health officials have made it clear that the safest place to be is home during the COVID-19 pandemic. With that in mind, Bassett USD campuses will remain physically closed for the remainder of the academic school year. This decision aligns with the recommendation from the California Department of Education and the Los Angeles County Office of Education.

School Opening Pushed back to May 4, 2020

Following the guidelines set forth by Governor Gavin Newsom and the Department of Education and Los Angeles County Office of Education, Bassett Unified will resume classes May 4, 2020 at the earliest. More news and updates will be coming soon to the website.

Prom/Graduation Updates

Graduation - CDE has not issued information regarding graduation requirements . . . we await the state's direction/guidance. Students/parents to stay tuned for information regarding graduation requirements and / or graduation event.

School Closure Student Work Pick Up

Packets will be distributed to students who would like enrichment activities. The assignments have been put together by the student’s current teachers and are relevant to what the students were learning on March 13th. The activities are optional and will not be graded or count against the students upon return.
Packets can be picked up on Wednesday morning from 9:30 – 11:30 AM and again on Thursday morning from 9:30 – 11:30 AM in front of the main office.
